Sami Robotics just robotically harvested its first iceberg lettuce
SAMI Robotics has demonstrated robotic harvesting of iceberg lettuce, one of several delicate field crops that remain difficult to automate. The company already harvested and sold broccoli commercially in Quebec in 2025, so iceberg matters as an expansion of a working selective-harvest platform rather than a first-ever field robot.
