Deepinder Goyal is moving Temple closer to a consumer launch. The forehead-worn device is designed to track cerebral blood-flow and oxygenation signals, a much more ambitious target than the heart rate, temperature and movement data collected by most rings and watches. The interesting part is that the hardware is arriving before the evidence is fully mature.

Goyal announced the latest version of Temple in his own launch update. He said the device is now less than half its previous size, that limited-edition pre-orders will open soon and that shipments are planned before the end of 2026.
