Diffraqtion raises $10M+ to shrink the optics race
Diffraqtion has taken total funding above $10 million with strategic backing from Lockheed Martin Ventures and Sumitomo's Presidio Ventures. Its pitch is unusually concrete for quantum sensing: use computational and quantum optics to get long-range imaging performance without endlessly building larger telescopes.

In its official funding release, Diffraqtion said strategic investments from Lockheed Martin Ventures and Presidio Ventures brought total funding to more than $10 million.

Diffraqtion combines specialized optical sensing with heavy computation to extract more information from limited photons. The practical goal is better long-range imaging and tracking without scaling the physical aperture at the same rate.
