Decart introduced Lucy 2.5, a world model that generates an interactive scene and lets users keep changing it while it runs. You can explore the world, then prompt new objects, environments, or events without throwing everything away and starting again.
Q2How is that different from normal AI video?
Most AI video tools work like a vending machine. You enter a prompt, wait, and receive a finished clip. Lucy is closer to a live simulation. The output keeps running, reacts to your actions, and can change direction after generation has already started. The prompt becomes a control, not just an opening instruction.
Q3Didn’t Google already build interactive worlds?
Yes. Google’s Genie 3 can generate explorable worlds at 720p and 24 frames per second, with about one minute of persistence. That sets a high bar for visual quality and stability. Lucy’s sharper angle is live editing. Decart wants users to reshape the world itself while they are inside it, rather than mostly choosing where to move.
